Kimberly-Clark’s global Corporate Strategy team has played a key role in solving the company’s largest and most pressing strategic issues for the past 10+ years.
The group’s purpose is to lead development and implementation of enterprise-wide strategy and develop strategic recommendations on issues at the highest level of the organization, while serving as a talent pipeline for the company.
The Strategy Senior Manager Corporate Strategy will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy within the Strategy Office.
Work is strongly influenced by the CEO, Chief Business and Transformation Officer, and other C-level executives, global functional and strategic leaders, and business P&L owners.
The Strategy Manager is expected to be an individual contributor and may manage projects and resources depending on project scope.
While there are not dedicated direct reports associated with this role, the Strategy Manager may manage Corporate Strategy and other K-C team members on various projects depending on project scope.
In this role you will :
Works closely with the Corporate Strategy Sr. Directors, Directors, Associate Directors and other strategy team members in the development of the corporate strategy and executing projects associated with the CEO’s value creation agenda.
Additionally, they will work with business unit teams (regions) and functions to create strategies at a regional, functional, category, brand and / or country level that drive shareholder value with clear plans for implementation.
This individual may also participate in the annual Strategic Business Planning process.
- Works collaboratively with project teams to deliver against objectives, in partnership with Corporate Strategy colleagues, business teams, and external partners.
- Leverages broad set of resources to bring objective, externally driven perspectives, options, or recommendations to business partners.
- Structures workstreams and analyses to solve some of the firm’s most critical questions.
- Leads specific workstreams within projects independently.
- Evaluates data and build financial models and clearly articulate the so-what of that information.
- Summarizes project learnings and recommendations for review with leaders.
- Synthesizes data from multiple sources.
- Creates materials for the Executive Leadership Team and Board meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering; MBA from top-tier business school is preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant business experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy; experience at a major consulting firm highly desired.
- Understanding of industry trends and best practices, KPIs and standard analyses, and the competitive market landscapes.
- Able to collect, interpret, visualize and analyze a wide variety of information (financial statements and models, market research, etc.
and derive data-driven strategic insights from analyses; fluent in MS Excel.
Written and Verbal Communication : Strong communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint / deck-writing experience;
capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience.
An awareness of what drives profitability and cash flow, a market-focused approach to the business, and an overall knowledge of business and functional interrelationships.
