Job Summary :
Provide advanced system administration and application support for clinical information systems. Provide complex reporting, analysis, and documentation of Clinical Information System activities.
Formulate recommendations designed to improve operational effectiveness. Collaborates directly with end-users to identify opportunities for clinical application optimization, technical improvements / changes to improve work flow.
Participate in building of clinical information systems for the facility. Pro-actively searches for potential system process improvement.
Develop and direct software system testing and training procedures, documentation, timelines, and contingency planning. Assist with training of staff on clinical information systems where appropriate.
Education :
Associates : Preferred
Educational Requirements :
Strong knowledge of practice standards and documentation requirements.
Experience :
2-4 Years of EMR Analyst in an Acute or Ambulatory Healthcare Setting : Required
Strong Knowledge of clinical workflow, practice standards and documentation requirements : Required
Certification & Licensure :
Licensed Vocational Nurse : Preferred
Additional Comments :
Certification in related clinical field preferred. Membership in professional organization preferred.
