Description
At Regions, the Bank Operations ACH Specialist performs operational duties to support the electronic transfer of funds using the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages the processing of the daily ACH files to include exceptions, distributions, origination, and returns in accordance to National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) guidelines
- Works with internal and external parties in resolving various ACH disputes
- Monitors and reviews risk alerts
- Performs ACH reconcilements
- Stays informed of NACHA rule revisions and banking regulations to ensure that processes remain compliant
- Works with limited direction / supervision
- Provides advice and guidance to less experienced associates, assisting in the development of necessary skills and the promotion of continuous improvement initiatives
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Four (4) years of operations or related experience
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- General knowledge of banking procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
This role can work remote within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, AL.
If there are connectivity issues with internet, you would be asked to come into the office to complete your workday.
ACH Experience is highly preferred.
Banking Operations Experience is preferred.

Monday - Friday, 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pm

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target :
$39,000.00 USD$47,020.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans :
