Certified Payroll Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a construction company in Downtown Phoenix. This organization is in search of a full time certified payroll specialist to join their team.

This job is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. The ideal candidate will have certified payroll experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and process weekly certified payrolls in compliance with Davis-Bacon Act and other federal / state regulations.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of employee hours, wages, and fringe benefits.
  • Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary payroll documentation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist with audits and provide required documentation as needed.
  • Utilize Paycom software for payroll processing and reporting.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years of recent and proven experience in certified payroll and knowledge of the Davis-Bacon Act.
  • Familiarity with Paycom software is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

Pay Details : $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
