Position Summary :
The Order Selector is responsible for identifying, selecting, and loading product safely & appropriately in a fast paced environment for routing and delivery to the customer.
What you'll do :
- Uses a scan gun to determine information such as product location, product codes, sequence of deliveries, and special loading instructions;
- Affixes shipping labels on cartons;
- Examines outgoing product to ensure quality of product meets specifications;
- Selects, picks, and palletize product by hand and loads into trucks in doors as assigned;
- Position merchandise so that proper stacking rules are employed and light cartons are positioned above heavier items.
- Shrink wraps and bands product to the pallet, as necessary;
- Weighs certain items and records weight for company records;
- General housekeeping of the shipping dock, aisles, and coolers;
- Responsible for adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies (HACCP, CGMPs)
- Following warehouse safety procedures for the operation of equipment, such as wearing proper clothing and maintaining awareness of your surroundings and other workers when transporting items.

About you :
- HS diploma or equivalent;
- 2+ Years experience operating a electric pallet jack;
- Able to lift at a minimum of 50 lbs consistently;
- Able to read product codes and special instructions for orders;
- Work in cold temperatures ranging from -0 to 55 degrees;
- Previous Experience working in a warehouse;
- Experience working with an RF Scanner / Headset;
- Positive attitude;
- Self Motivated;
- Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work well on a team, but be self motivated and independent when needed;
