Job Summary : In partnership with the Executive Director of BMA TenPoint, the Project Director will lead the development and implementation of the Family Initiative, including the development of resources, research, staff, partnership, strategy, data feedback, learning, and improvement, so that extended families most impacted by violence access resources, overcome trauma, and reach their own goals.

Build respectful, consistent, trusting relationships with families who are inter-generationally impacted by violence, based on shared life experience, which inspire them to hope and transformation
Build an effective initiative from start up, that transforms delivery of public services
Diagnose gaps in service delivery on individual basis and advocate vigorously for care
Convene public and community stakeholders and develop shared commitment to goals
Build budget, raise funds, and lead staff team, so families achieve outcomes
Lead pilot, learning, implementation, and adjust strategy so families achieve outcomes
Responsibilities :
With partners, manage the vision and buy-in, planning, and timely development of the Family Initiative pilot research and strategy adjustment, including necessary fund, staff, and partnership development.
Provide effective staff hiring, supervision, development, and evaluation, so that staff develop necessary competencies to effectively engage family members and ensure they reach outcomes.
Convene City and State service delivery partners and other community stakeholders in a network of care around enrolled families, to make existing social service delivery more efficient and effective.
Gain buy-in, input, and participation of City and State partners in the program, setting expectations for accountability to prioritize and coordinate essential services to selected families.
Engage and support partners, so they are held accountable to support initial, intermediate, and long-term participant outcomes.
To create measurable program quality standards, participant outcomes, and program goals, and ensure accountability and improvement for the benefit of families, from a rigorous team and partner practice of measurement, analysis, and learning.
Work with staff to develop, train, and implement detailed program engagement and safety protocols.
In partnership with BMA TenPoint Executive Director and Development Officer, initiate and coordinate Family Initiative fundraising activities, including funder relationships and grants management.
Education : Minimum : Bachelors degree in public health, counseling, community development, or related field. Masters preferred.
Experience :
Strong commitment to the Black Christian faith, community, the interfaith community, and possess good Christian principles and values.
Personal familiarity with Boston neighborhoods and extended families most impacted by structural racism and violence.
