In this role, you will be tasked with growing and nurturing our engineering team into a world-class organization. You should not only be driven by the problem we are solving but also by the innovative approach and technology that we are applying to healthcare.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Drive the execution and delivery of product features by collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Lead key engineering initiatives to improve overall engineering effectiveness and productivity
- Iteratively define and refine development processes and engineering best practices as teams grow
- Recruit, challenge, and reward high-performing software engineers and managers
- Be a trusted partner for senior management to determine the best solutions, help drive alignment and implement decisions throughout your team
Qualifications (Required) :
- 7+ years of developing software professionally and / or managing software teams
- Proven experience sourcing, hiring, and growing a software development team
- Understanding of up-to-date software engineering tools and processes (git, CI / CD, GCP, JIRA)
- Broad knowledge of design patterns necessary for highly scalable, distributed architecture
Qualifications (Bonus) :
- Experience with Nodejs and Typescript
- Experience in healthcare
- Prior work at a startup
