We are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new product sales of our brands in the personal care, tanning and hair care market.
This role requires experience working with LATAM retailers, distributors and brokers within these categories, as well as significant experience in building and maintaining customer relationships in LATAM and the Florida market.
Additionally, we would like this sales position to be responsible for the development of the professional market within the Florida region, namely with our brand Mine Tan Body Skin.
Experience in the professional field (distributors, beauty salons / spas, beauty suppliers) is key to success in this role.
Job Summary : The primary focus of this position is to drive new product sales into the assigned channels and ensure the customers are supported to achieve the budgeted sales.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Create and drive new Sales opportunities through the assigned channels
- Own the sales cycle - from lead generation to closure.
- Engage with buyers to plan and forecast orders, promotional programs
- Manage the existing customers to achieve the sales budgets
- Arranging meetings with key future external stakeholders
- Negotiation and manage related trade spend
- Achieve market share volume and value objectives within on-boarded accounts through ensuring optimized promotional activity
- Work with direct manager & marketing teams to identify additional channel partners and present NPD
- Day to day running of accounts along with category reviews, field visits to develop PRO channel business including presentations and trainings as applicable
- Monthly sales forecasting
- Utilization of Data systems
- Build strong partnerships with all external customers, such as Buyers, GM’s, PM’s, salon owners, and inventory managers
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills / Abilities :
- 2-3 years prior experience in proven new sales development
- Experience in LATAM and Florida regions
- Experience in personal care, self tanning and hair care products highly desirable
- Fluency in Spanish is a must-have for this position as it will require contact with Spanish speaking customers
- Bachelor's degree (preferred), in a relevant discipline
