Summer Camp Adventure Awaits!
Hey there, future Camp Instructors! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with the City of Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo?
We're seeking vibrant individuals like you to join us for our amazing summer science camps from June 3rd to August 9th! We are currently seeking Camp Instructors at both the Recreation Leader II and Recreation Leader III levels.
Join us and become an integral part of our team!
Get ready to dive into a world of discovery as we explore everything from Life Sciences to Earth Sciences! Our week-long camps cater to kids from Preschool to Grade 6 and take place at awesome locations like the Junior Museum and Zoo, Rinconada Park's Girl Scout House, Lucie Stern Community Center, Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center, and Foothills Nature Preserve!
But wait, there's more fun to be had! After a day of learning, our campers need to unwind, and that's where you come in! Join us for our After Camp programs at Rinconada Park, where we'll enjoy recreational activities, games, art-making, and even weekly trips to the Rinconada Pool!
Limited Hourly Position :
- Not to exceed 415 hours per fiscal year.
- Flexible work hours determined upon assignment.

Applicants aged 18 and above
Available all summer long, from June 3rd to August 9th
Passionate about science, teaching, or child development
Love working with kids in an educational setting

Work Hours :
- Science Camp : Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- After Camp : Monday to Friday, 1 : 30 p.m. to 6 : 30 p.m.
