Working under the guidance the COO, you will play a crucial role in identifying and rectifying discrepancies, along with owning the establishment of effective control systems for multiple international business units.

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of financial and reporting principles. As an organized professional with keen attention to detail, you should be dependable and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that the company’s financial processes meet established standards, promoting accurate financial reporting and effective control.

Responsibilities :

  • Own all aspects of accounting management (billing, tax forms, reporting etc.)
  • Develop formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
  • Preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines
  • and requirements
  • Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
  • Participate in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
  • Execution and organization of financial due diligence as part of a M&A team
  • Participate in preparation for the annual audit
  • Help in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies
  • Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies
  • Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records

Requirements and Skills :

  • Proven experience as controller or other similar position
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Prior experience working in the Consulting Services industry
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • BSc / BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
