Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Data Program Manager who will work with a project sponsor and / or product owner. They will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific programs / projects, ensuring consistency with the company's strategy, commitments, and goals.
The ideal candidate will be able to create a dashboard and tightly manage work at a program level, working with the PMs and Tech leads to hit dates, understand inter-dependencies, manage challenges, resource capacity, etc.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategize, implement, and maintain enterprise program initiatives to meet organizational objectives
- Work closely with business sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for the program
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Education and Experience
- Demonstrated the delivery of data centric projects, like Data warehouse, Data Lake, Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Data Integration
- Grasp of the fundamentals of data programs including, data modeling, data science, data integration
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Mulesoft a plus
- Client's data team has work organized in 3 areas :
- Foundational projects projects the data team / IT launches to improve our foundational capabilities for future needs
- Reporting & Analytics data needed to support these requests
- Business Enablement initiatives that have data as a dependency
