ProSidian seeks a Geotechnical Engineer Environmental Management USACE009014 - DPLH Est. : 2080 Hrs. ST 0 Hrs. OT on an Exempt Contract Contingent Basis Engagement Team Engineer / Scientist IV Labor Category - STD Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS : 541620 - DPLH Est.

2080 Hrs. ST 0 Hrs. OT on an Exempt Contract Contingent Basis located CONUS - Ten (10) States : Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming across the Midwest Region supporting a federal agency within the Dept of Defense whose geo area encompasses a vast geographic region that includes all or parts of ten states : Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming to provide critical engineering services to strengthen national security, support economic growth, and mitigate disaster risks focusing on flood management, environmental restoration, and military construction across the Missouri River Basin.

The USACE NWO mission is to deliver vital engineering solutions, in collaboration with partners, to secure the nation, energize the economy, and reduce disaster risks by focusing on a diverse array of missions, including flood risk management, navigation, hydropower, environmental restoration, and regulatory oversight.

Seeking Geotechnical Engineer candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE.

This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as an Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Geotechnical Engineer) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) U.

S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States : Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Midwest Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Geotechnical Engineer Environmental Management USACE009014

Design and evaluate foundations, slopes, and earth structures; perform soil and rock mechanics analyses. The Engineer(s) is responsible for assuring that all engineering support goals specified in the Task Order are attained.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Geotechnical Engineer Environmental Management USACE009014 Candidates :

Proficiency in geotechnical analysis; familiarity with industry software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS). The Engineer(s) should also have three (3) years’ experience related to the investigation, design, and construction of geotechnical features, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience being related to remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design and construction of geotechnical features in Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services Site and / or process engineering at Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services Facilities or sites.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

7+ years in geotechnical engineering; experience in environmental remediation projects. Bachelor's in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

The Engineer shall have a college degree in engineering (soil mechanics, materials, or related specialty), geological engineering, or related field.

The Engineer(s) should have demonstrable education and experience in geotechnical engineering.

Skills Required

Skills Required : Geotechnical analysis, foundation design, problem-solving, technical writing. Professional Licensure : Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Competencies Required

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

Permits / Licenses : Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways.
