Cloud Engineer - (Sign-on Bonus Available) - Security Clearance Required

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer with the ability to work without the assistance of junior staff.

This position requires the candidate to have Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility . This project is in support of the 402d Software Engineering Group at Robins Air Force Base, GA.

All work will be performed on base. This is not a remote (work from home) position. The selected candidates will be highly qualified / experienced, able to communicate effectively (written / verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Facilities are open 6am-6pm - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours
• You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments
• A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4 / 10 or 9 / 80)

Requirements

• BS or higher degree in Data Science or Computer Science with 2 years of experience
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility

Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud architectural design, implementation, connectivity, and transition.

Experience in cloud infrastructure, Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), data transfer, load balancing, and access controls.

Experience in troubleshooting issues with cloud computing environments / platforms, providing necessary cloud services, integrating new applications, standup of new enclaves / environments, upgrading / optimizing cloud systems / environments, instantiation / configuration of data-diodes.

Experience must include one or more of the following :

Microsoft Azure

Cloud 1

Platform 1

• Certification Requirements :
• To Start : Required to have AWS Cloud Practitioner (or Equivalent)
• Security+CE is required and must be obtained within 120 days of starting

Ability to perform at a Senior / SME level with minimal to no assistance from junior level organic staff.
