JOB SUMMARYStaff Physician Interventional Radiology provides medical care to large array of patients by providing minimally invasive image-guided diagnosis and treatment of disease .

As assigned by the Chairman , the Physician will provide service at the following UM / JMH locat ions : Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, UHealth Tower Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, at satellite centers in Broward county ( Plantation and Deerfield Beach) the Lennar Foundation medical Center, and UHealth Doral.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONSInterpret interventional radiology imaging studies and perform interventional procedures.Assist in the development and implementation of new and innovative interventional proceduresBe responsible for evaluating patients both pre and post interventionSupervise performance of technical personnel.

Evaluate and consult new referrals and follow up patients in IR clinic.Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of interventional imaging.

Provide interventional imaging consultation as requested .Provide emergency patient care as required in the setting of an Interventional radiology practice.

Be part of the on-call schedule in Interventional RadiologyAssume administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Chairman related to the practice of interventional imaging.
