Sterling Engineering is a growing staffing and engineering services firm that specializes in placing top talent in the U.

S and Ireland. We have been working with a growing manufacturer of electric heaters on bringing in a Outside Sales Rep to work with customers in the East Coast to bring in a new book of business.

  • Salary is 100-120k, will be additional commission included
  • Company is known for its stability and tenure
  • Not A Managerial Role With Direct Reports
  • Role will be split between remote and travel

Overview :

  • Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales and manufacturing teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Travel to customer locations within the assigned territory to conduct meetings and sales activities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in an outside sales / business development role for a manufacturing company (not food, or pharma, must be industrial)
  • Experience with a product that deals in thermal components
  • Ability to travel to customers in the East Coast
