Independently performs preventive maintenance such as replacing filters, belts and motors. Independently paints walls, repairs cabinet hinges, installs wall fixtures and assemblies furniture.

Independently clears clogged drains using plungers / drain snakes, rebuilds Sloan valves and removes / replaces threaded plumbing fixtures.

Performs other maintenance related tasks such as moving equipment, furniture and supplies.Routinely performs security functions of patrolling hallways, initiating incident reports and restraining unstable patients.

This position also provides coverage for Security and Patient Sitters. Must have a Florida Class "D" Security License and IAHSS certification.
