Level 3 IT Specialist Responsibilities :

• Advanced Troubleshooting and Support
• Provide high-level technical support for complex issues that cannot be resolved by Level 1
• Diagnose and resolve intricate hardware, software, and network problems.
• Technical Documentation
• Create and maintain detailed knowledge base documentation for Level 1 techs
• Security and Compliance
• Monitor and enforce IT policies and procedures to protect company data and systems and maintain compliance with HIPAA and PCI
• User Training and Support
• Provide training and mentorship to level 1 IT techs and end-users on advanced technical topics and best practices
• Vendor and Asset Management
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and support
• Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking
• Incident Management
• Report incidents for critical IT issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on business operations
• Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes, tools, and best practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement new solutions that benefit the organization
• Collaboration and Communication
• Work closely with other IT techs, and departments to address technical needs and align IT solutions with business objectives
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel to facilitate understanding and problem resolution
• Provide expert advice and consultation to management and other departments regarding IT infrastructure and technology strategy

Level 3 IT Specialist Job Qualifications :

• CompTIA Core 3 certs (Network +, Security+, A+) or similar
• In-depth knowledge of at least 1 EHR system
• Prior experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments
• Languages preferred (Python, JSON, SQL, Azure CLI, Graph API (HTTP / HTTPS))
• Prior experience with Power Automate or similar automation tools
