Level 3 IT Specialist Responsibilities :
- Advanced Troubleshooting and Support
- Provide high-level technical support for complex issues that cannot be resolved by Level 1
- Diagnose and resolve intricate hardware, software, and network problems.
- Technical Documentation
- Create and maintain detailed knowledge base documentation for Level 1 techs
- Security and Compliance
- Monitor and enforce IT policies and procedures to protect company data and systems and maintain compliance with HIPAA and PCI
- User Training and Support
- Provide training and mentorship to level 1 IT techs and end-users on advanced technical topics and best practices
- Vendor and Asset Management
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and support
- Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking
- Incident Management
- Report incidents for critical IT issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on business operations
- Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes, tools, and best practices
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement new solutions that benefit the organization
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with other IT techs, and departments to address technical needs and align IT solutions with business objectives
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel to facilitate understanding and problem resolution
- Provide expert advice and consultation to management and other departments regarding IT infrastructure and technology strategy
Level 3 IT Specialist Job Qualifications :
- CompTIA Core 3 certs (Network +, Security+, A+) or similar
- In-depth knowledge of at least 1 EHR system
- Prior experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments
- Languages preferred (Python, JSON, SQL, Azure CLI, Graph API (HTTP / HTTPS))
- Prior experience with Power Automate or similar automation tools
