Traveling Director of Nursing - Long Term Care
Located throughout the Northeast Ohio region
An excellent skilled nursing organization that owns multiple skilled nursing facilities located throughout the Northeast Ohio region is looking for a strong Traveling Director of Nursing (DON) to travel to and manage the nursing departments of five small long term care facilities.
Responsibilities of the Traveling Director of Nursing :
- Provide effective nurse management (hiring, development, training, performance feedback, etc.) that assures utilization of personnel to best meet the needs of the people receiving supports and services.
- Develop and implement health care related training that assures the best possible delivery of health related supports and services.
- Review training at least annually and makes modifications as needed.
Requirements of the Traveling Director of Nursing :
- Must have current Ohio RN License
- Must have prior Director of Nursing experience
- Must have strong clinical background & knowledge
- Must have long term care experience
- Must be willing to travel
