PPMT Clinical Assistants are advocates who implement our mission to empower all people to make private reproductive health care decisions by providing quality health care, medically accurate education, and advocacy for individual rights.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinic Assistant is the initial contact with our patients, representing PPMT's commitment to excellent customer service.
The Clinic Assistant's responsibilities include front desk reception, insurance verification, payment processing, primary lab duties, assisting with procedures as applicable (including abortion), patient education, and administrative tasks that support an efficient, patient-focused clinic environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
HOURS : 20-25 Hours per week
PAY : $ 19.00 Starting; Rates are based on experience and credentialing

Long-Term and Short-Term Disability is 66.66 % of earnings and PPMT pays this benefit.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with others in a positive, respectful, and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as a successful team member
- Professional appearance
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Reproductive health care experience
- Experience working with insurance and payment processing
- Bilingual language skills
