We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Process Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process engineering, working closely with experienced professionals on various projects that enhance our production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

Assist in the analysis and optimization of existing manufacturing processes.

Support the development and implementation of process improvements.

Conduct data collection and analysis to identify trends and performance metrics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process design and validation.

Participate in root cause analysis for process-related issues and recommend solutions.

Document findings and contribute to project reports and presentations.

Engage in safety and quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with standards.

Shadow and learn from experienced engineers to gain insights into process engineering best practices

Requirements

Must be able to start June 2, 2025 and complete the entire 10 week program

Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools

Ability to look at PMI programs

Strong understanding of automation design, and continuous process improvement methodologies.

Basic understanding of process engineering principles and methodologies.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Detail-oriented with a strong ability to problem-solve.

Familiarity with CAD software or process simulation tools is a plus

Ability to determine ROI on automation and semi automation equipment

Able to work in our Greenfield facility 5 days a week and travel to the Echo Chicago headquarters as needed
