This position will manage the HR function for the organization’s Trumbull, CT, Stafford, TX and Costa Rica facilities, working with senior leadership to develop and promote the human resources strategies for the organization, and oversees HR functions and staff.

- Leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high-performance culture that emphasizing quality, productivity, goal attainment and empowerment.
- Develops annual HR-related plans and programs to address business needs for the sites.
- Develops processes and metrics that support the achievement of the company’s business goals.
- Manages and directs the activities of the human resources staff.
- Ensures compliance with Company policies and ensures a consistent practice. Proactively identifies problems central to business strategy and forecasts potential obstacles to success.
- Defines and manages the HR budget.
- Oversee programs administered by the HR department, which includes employee wellness, engagement activities, benefits, staffing, on boarding, & professional development.
- Responds to escalated HR or personnel issues. Conducts confidential investigation.
- Ensures organization follows regulatory requirements within the HR function.
- Acts as a coach for managers regarding employee relations issues including performance improvement & development plans and progressive discipline.
- Responds to escalated Human Resource issues including investigation of internal and external complaints.
- Keeps abreast of current trends, practices, and developments in the profession. Make recommendations for implementation.
- Acts within scope of authority consistent with Company objectives, guidelines, policies, and practices.
- Performs additional duties or assignments as directed by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in . function with minimum 2 years' experience in managerial capacity of a manufacturing plant.
- Solid communication skills.

- Strategic Planning capabilities
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to interact with all levels in the organization.
- Well organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft products.
