HR Coordinator
The HR Coordinator will be responsible forsupporting team member compensation union leave and benefits. Alsothere will be opportunities to support the leave administrationprogram to include request for leaves of absence access toshortterm and longterm benefits and return to work experience fornonwork medical injury and illness family medical leaves and othernonmedical leaves (military jury duty).
This role will collaboratewith team member Defense leadership UAW leadership COEsprocessowners and thirdparty administrators to deliver anexperience that reinforces our People First Culture as well as aculture of overall team memberwellbeing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES :
These duties are notmeant to be allinclusive and other duties may beassigned.
Team Member Service / Engagement : Fieldteam member questions / concerns provide guidance and information tocreate connections and remove barriers throughout theircompensation experience to ensure they are cared for in a PeopleFirst manner.
Technical / Systems Administration : Update team member attendance and payroll records to ensureaccurate tracking of timeoff intermittent leaves return to workdata and ensure that pay is processed in an accurate and timelymanner.
Partnership : Work collaboratively withleaders to ensure they are aware of job and compensation changes;partner with third party administrators to ensure smooth processingand provide liaison with team members as needed;
field questionsfrom leaders UAW leadership HRBPs Health Servicesetc.
Leave Administration / Processing : Assistwith leave administration as needed through partnering with ourthirdparty administrator.
Measurement : Track keymetrics and generate reports for leaders and key stakeholders tobring awareness to usage / compensation changes and other key metricsto enable effective leader decision making and discussion with UAWleaderships.
Continuous Improvement : Be thevoice of the customer by channeling feedback from team members andleaders to drive continuous process improvement and create betterteam member experiences.
Compliance : Assist withinvestigations and conduct HR file audits to ensure compliance withnew and ongoing Federal State and locallaws.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelorsdegree in Business Human Resources or a related field.
One(1) or more years of relevant experienced in HR or customercare.
- Possess exceptional customer service andrelationship building skills.
- Ability toproblem solve and develop continuous improvement solutions tobetter serve team members.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS :
Experience using people technology andbenefit platforms.
Experience with time and attendancesystems.
Knowledge of benefit programs and legislationrelated to team member leaves of absence (i.e. Family Medical LeaveAct Shortterm Disability Longterm Disability benefitplans).
Previous experience with team member support andcare within a manufacturingenvironment.
