As a Digitalization Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will be instrumental in advancing our digital transformation initiatives.
This role entails designing, implementing, and optimizing digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency, improve end-user experiences, and support data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in digital technologies, process automation, and data analytics, along with a strong passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and implement digital transformation strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions using technologies such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI (Artificial Intelligence), and machine learning.
- Design and deploy data analytics platforms and tools to enable real-time data collection, analysis, and visualization.
Provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Integrate digital solutions with existing systems and platforms to ensure seamless operation and data flow across the organization.
- Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful adoption of digital solutions by stakeholders and end-users.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to process digitalization and manufacturing automation.
- Provide training and technical support to employees on new digital tools and technologies. Develop documentation and user guides as needed.
- Ensure that digital solutions comply with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements. Implement measures to protect data privacy and integrity.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in process digitization, manufacturing automation or a related.
- Proficiency in programming languages, scripting (RPA), and SQL databases.
- Proficiency with distributed version control systems (GIT).
- Familiarity with ETL / ELT tools and data analytics.
- Knowledge in VB.NET and C#.NET (MS Visual Studio) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL, T-SQL, and Snowflake is a plus.
- Experience with C# ASP.NET web applications and User Experience (UX) is highly valued.
- Preferred familiarity with low-code / no-code applications such as Mendix, Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
