As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems.

Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients as you develop and implement communications strategies that inform, educate, and inspire the client's workforce, reinforce core values, and convey information about critical client initiatives.

As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you will perform a variety of duties, including creating and implementing communications plans to gain employee buy-in of client initiatives, drafting and editing internal and enterprise-wide news and information to inform the client's workforce, including regular newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and articles, develop and manage content for the client's web site, such as event notices, articles, and leadership messages, and create collateral content, as needed.

You will also be responsible, with your team, for coordinating, publicizing, and running periodic events, such as All Hands or town hall meetings to highlight programs and initiatives of importance to the client and its workforce.

This role requires 100% onside delivery.

You Have :

5+ years of experience working in a professional environment, including internships

Knowledge of foundational communications principles and best practices

Ability to interact with senior-level clients, including making recommendations to advance their vision

Ability to develop a network of communications professionals in the client space, to collaborate with and learn from the client

Ability to create compelling, high-quality communications materials, with little input or oversight, for a variety of audiences

TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph

Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have :

Experience in the strategic communications field

Experience with writing and editing material in a journalistic style

Experience in the Intelligence Community

Knowledge of website content management systems, including WordPress or Joomla

Master's degree

Clearance :

TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
