BSA LifeStructures is looking for a Designer to work within our Architectural team in our St. Louis studio. The purpose of this position is to assist with developing design ideas, architectural documentation, and the delivery of assigned projects.

Following 90 days of employment, employees are eligible to work remotely 16 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Architectural design and planning process on projects. Assist in client engagement through all processes and tools.

Prepares design presentation documentation, design process documentation, and working drawings.May present limited portions of design to client, participates in consulting partner or design committee meetings and discusses need for modification for change.

Project delivery and support provided

Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.Communicates and improves some design processes with other team members.

May "own " limited portions of project delivery and works on documents / details to deliver specified portion of project within assigned workplan hours.

Pursue certification and / or licensure (if on a licensure track)Minimize rework

Participates in project debriefs and lessons learned sessions.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

Reads publications, attends presentations, and consults with various project personnel to establish design conceptsPromote companys reputation through good client relations.

Continually increase technical knowledge of materials, products, and detailing.May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Google : Mail, Calendar, Drive, Apps; familiarity with Deltek Vision preferred.

Architecture : Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam; Graphic Software : InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Education / Experience Requirements

Professional degree in Architecture2-5 years of applicable experience.
