Shift : 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 10 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Pay : $19.82 / hr. - $27.31 / hr. DOE

Shift Premium : $5.00 / hr.

Position Responsibilities :

• Oversee and assist in chemical maintenance for electroplating solutions, including adding chemicals to plating tanks as needed, cleaning machines, changing solutions, maintaining plating equipment, hull cell testing, and pH testing.
• Thoroughly examine plating tanks and maintain daily check sheets for the plating lines.
• Operate and monitor waste treatment equipment and purifying processes.
• Handle sludge and other hazardous materials with utmost caution.
• Maintain cleanliness of plating lines, storage, and waste treatment areas.
• Follow strict work procedures and safety practices.

Essential Skills and Experience :

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with industrial chemicals and proper handling
• Must have a wastewater certification or be willing to work towards obtaining one
• Possess strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and focus for extended periods
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting, stand for long periods of time, and withstand a hot environment

Preferred Skills and Experience :

• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Associates degree from a recognized technical / community college
• Previous batch chemical experience
