Position Description
The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking a dynamic and innovative physician to join our microsurgical reconstruction team.
Barnes Jewish Hospital is a 1400-bed facility providing care to the St. Louis metropolitan area and a primary service region covering six states.
As the hospital for Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, the hospital offers nationally recognized clinical programs;
our program was recently designated as a Comprehensive Network of Excellence by the Lymphatic Education and Research Network.
The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (20 Faculty), which is under the leadership of Justin Sacks, MD, MBA, FACS, provides the full breadth of surgical care and is fully integrated in the Department of Surgery at Washington University St.
Louis. The successful applicant should have experience in Microvascular Reconstruction head to toe, Breast Reconstruction, Lymphedema Surgery, Adult Craniofacial Trauma Reconstruction, Head and Neck Surgery and other reconstructive interests.
The applicant should also demonstrate the ability to be part of a multidisciplinary team. In addition, resources will be provided to support impactful research programs that parallel the applicant’s clinical interest.
There is a leadership opportunity at hire over the Lymphedema program.

Additional Qualifications
Requirements are prior Plastic Surgery ACGME residency training and adequate case numbers for certification.
