Job Summary :
Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering (ASE) is looking for a motivated leader to manage inspection and performance in the Unserviceable Hardware Clinic across all Military engine programs in Oklahoma City.
The ASE inspection clinic acquires knowledge on unserviceable hardware stored in HFFR (Hold For Future Repair) inventory.
The ASE Clinic documents hardware condition and distress data for engineering analysis, often a key input to Program decisions on limits or repair tasks.
This leader will coordinate with key stakeholders to gather and share information on part distress.
This role is responsible to create and implement the strategic plan for the current work-scope in the Clinic and utilization of any newly acquired inspection equipment.
They will oversee training and development for all supporting personnel and ensure compliance with all EH&S requirements unique to the work area.
They’ll ensure proper reporting of required metrics, such as process efficiency, backlog data, and calculation of clinic savings, consistent with internal and external customer expectations.
Responsibilities :
Manages ASE participation and performance in the unserviceable hardware evaluation clinic across all Military engine programs.
Ensures proper reporting of required metrics, such as process efficiency, backlog data, and calculation of clinic impact, consistent with internal and external customer expectations.
Coordinates with Engineering, Program office, Data Trending & Repair Initiation, and warehouse personnel to gather and share information on part distress.
Ensures process alignment and communication across all engine programs.
Develops strategies to improve data collection efficiency, which may include technologies and software systems.
Considers strategies for a one-clinic approach across all programs, and leverages / drives activities working in Commercial programs to potentially benefit Military programs.
Lead the acquisition effort to identify and appropriate advanced inspection equipment.
Ensures proper staffing levels and training for all supporting personnel.
Ensures proper alignment of deliverables, resources, and allocated funding.
Oversees all outsourced personnel and outsource contracts related to ASE clinic.
Ensures compliance with all EH&S requirements applicable to the work area and work scope.
Ensure accuracy and relevance of collected part distress data.
10% travel is anticipated.
Basic Qualifications :
BS Degree in Engineering
8+ years related work experience in engineering, aftermarket or operations or 6+ years with an advanced degree
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.
Preferred Qualifications :
Engine hardware and / or manufacturing experience
Possess great strength in interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and computer skills
Solid record of demonstrated leadership and successful project management
Excellent team leadership and customer focus
SOW management experience is preferred
Prior supervisor experience is desired
Demonstrated understanding of Earned Value Management
Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization
Ability to effectively team across organizations to accomplish goals
Strong influencing, management, and leadership skills
Excellent business judgment

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
This requisition is eligible for an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
