Position Summary : The Quality Manager manages, develops, and implements quality control systems in alignment with the AZEK Quality System, designed to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards, specifications, and production goals.

This position has responsibility for the Quality department and quality systems at our Boise, ID manufacturing facility, as well as supporting enterprise-wide Quality System initiatives.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be :

  • Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the plant’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with AZEK quality system requirements.
  • Develop statistical data for the organization to measure quality.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns. Apply statistical and quality tools to analyze data and perform thorough Root Cause Analysis, execute CAPA processes and improve process capabilities (e.

g.,5S, Lean, 6 Sigma, DOE, SPC)

  • Effectively interact with production / development teams to maintain product supply and help qualify new production equipment.
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
  • Interpret quality control philosophy for key personnel within the Company.
  • Create, document, implement, and monitor conformance to inspection criteria and procedures.
  • Investigate quality issues and work with the appropriate parties within the organization to develop corrective action plans.
  • Work with Procurement / R&D / Supplier Quality to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  • Lead and identify relevant quality training for manufacturing employees to properly interpret quality standards and support quality procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation. Establish clearly defined quality methods.
  • Conduct internal audits of the quality system.
  • Maintain and calibrate all of the measurement devices utilized within the quality system.

We believe that the successful candidate will have :

  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school)
  • 3 plus years of Quality Management experience
  • Strong computer skills include Minitab, MS Office, Quality Window V (or other database skills)
  • CQE, Six Sigma Certifications a plus
  • Experience / knowledge of Quality systems such as ISO, Six Sigma, TQ, PDSA, CI, 5S

Travel : Required : 10-20%

  • Lifting 10lbs or less : 2.5-5.5 hrs. / day
  • Squat or Kneel 13-25lbs : 0-2.5 hrs. / day
  • Bend 26-40lbs : 0-2.5 hrs. / day

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 in our lowest market up to $125,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable.

The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
