Role and Purpose within the Organization :

We're looking for a Production Lead to support our customers. Wondercide is a small, but fast-growing business with plenty of opportunities for impact and personal growth.

As a Production Lead :

You should be comfortable routinely performing numerous tasks throughout the shift as needed, making adjustments to help improve the team's performance, as well as being motivated to produce great results consistently that meet or exceed expectations.

The individual would support the Production Manager in multiple ways throughout the shift and must be flexible to shift from line to line as needed.

Responsibilities :

• Working Lead - Will be responsible for working on production lines, communicating production goals, providing updates to the team & manager on performance through the shift, identifying / addressing / escalating challenges, positioning the team to win each shift & on each work order
• Attentive to details, is committed to quality / safety / and productivity
• Supports the team as a Subject Matter Expert for equipment issues, escalating any issues beyond their capabilities to resolve
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and leaders
• Strong customer focus, both internally and externally
• Make recommendations to management concerning improvements of procedures, processes, and software recommendations and assists where needed.
• Assist in special projects, inventory, and audits as needed
• Leads by example
• Most importantly, a positive attitude!

Qualifications :

• Previous production and / or manufacturing experience is required
• Previous people leadership experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Basic computer skills a must - preferred experience with :
• Google Sheets
• NetSuite
• Independent, self-driven, and interested in personal development
• Capable of problem solving, identifying issues & implementing solutions to help achieve the production goals
• English language proficiency, proficiency in Spanish is beneficial

Logistics :

• This role is expected to work out of our facility at 3106 Longhorn Blvd, Austin, TX 5 days a week. Regular shift hours will be assigned, usually 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm Monday through Friday
• Occasional overtime hours possible for peak season
