Hays are currently working with a esteemed Accountancy Practice in the Taunton area, who are in search of an Interim Tax Manager to join their team starting this July.
Hays offer apetitive day rate and this client can offer the convenience of parking facilities on-site.Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services to our clients.
- Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, andpliance expertise to clients.
- Manage and contribute to the development of junior staff, including reviewing their work for accuracy andpleteness.
- Ensure that all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- Advise clients on a full spectrum of tax services including planning, research, andpliance.
- Prepare and reviewplex ie tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating knowledge of client business and tax matters.
Interim Tax Manager Taunton based Accountancy Practice.Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Tax Manager, Assistant Tax Manager, or High Performing Tax Senior Experience.
- Outgoing, socially confident, and emotionally controlled.
- A positive attitude, friendly, and approachable.
- Resilient, able to multi-task and work independently / flexibly.
- Adaptable, organised, and conscientious.
- Takes the initiative, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Discreet, professional, and team-oriented in approach.
- Excellent knowledge of tax and all types ofpliance returns.
- Strong technical tax knowledge across a broad range of taxes.
- Good report writer and able tomunicate across a spectrum of taxes.
- Good working knowledge of general IT Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Social Media programmes.
- Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills, with proven accuracy and an eye for detail.
- ATT or / and CTA qualified.
