We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst. The role primarily involves developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or utility programs.
The candidate will be expected to optimize operational efficiency and manage the design and development of software systems.
Responsibilities :
- Review modifications to existing software to correct errors, allow adaptation to new hardware, or improve performance.
- Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of the design.
- Evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
- Provide counsel to customers about software system design and maintenance.
- Provide guidance to systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
- Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Supervise the work of programmers, technologists, technicians, and other engineering and scientific personnel.
- Maintain expert knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
- Exhibit expert knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in the production of drawings and models.
- Manage time independently and provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Utilize expertise in niche computer software such as Oracle, , Lawson, etc.
