Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy to children ages 3-21 in our Brooklyn Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing therapy sessions, assessing students to monitor progress, and suggesting carry over activities.
This role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to develop and implement a therapy plan that align with each student’s unique learning needs. As a PT, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students with disabilities by fostering a supportive learning atmosphere that promotes independence, confidence, and a love of learning. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you will be required to track student progress, conduct assessments, and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities
Plan and implement physical therapy sessions based on the student's unique needs and goals.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other related service providers to establish and implement Individualized Education Plan (IEPs).
Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
Create and maintain an inclusive and adaptive learning environment that meets the needs of diverse learners.
Facilitate communication between students, families, and educational staff to strengthen support systems.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of educational progress and communicate regularly with the education team.
Qualifications :
Physical Therapy License (NYS) (required)
