Windwalker is seeking a dedicated, engaging, decisive and vigilant individual to fill the position of a Hospitality Security Guard (HSG) at our client's location in Boston.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's patrons and staff.
You will be entrusted with ensuring the safety and security of patrons while also actively engaging with them to enhance their overall experience and ensure they enjoy their time with us to the fullest.

Schedule :
Overnight, 3rd Shift Coverage. Free parking provided onsite.
Responsibilities :
1. Welcome and Atmosphere Enhancement :
- Collaborate with the outlet Manager on Duty (MOD) upon arrival to set the tone for a welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare the ID Scanner with a focus on enhancing the overall guest experience.
2. Venue Ambiance Oversight :
- Conduct a relaxed walk-through of Crescendo and The Sporting Club to gauge the current vibe and ensure guests are enjoying a comfortable atmosphere.
- Monitor adherence to local laws, seamlessly checking IDs to contribute to a safe and enjoyable experience.
3. Capacity Management and Personalized Service :
- Navigate the delicate balance of maintaining a vibrant atmosphere while ensuring the bar isn't overcrowded.
- Foster positive guest interactions at the door, transforming concerns into opportunities for enhanced satisfaction.
4. Support and Emergency Preparedness :
- Respond promptly to requests for support from the manager, servers, or bartenders, enriching the overall guest experience.
- Be a reassuring presence in emergency situations, contributing to a secure environment for both guests and staff.
5. Closing Moments of the Night :
- Assist with the closing procedures at The Sporting Club, ensuring a seamless transition for guests.
- Relocate to Crescendo Lobby Bar, contributing to a smooth conclusion of the evening.
6. Seamless Equipment Handling :
Effortlessly return the ID Scanner to its docking station at the outlet manager’s desk.
7. Personal Connection and Closure :
Check out with the outlet MOD, reflecting on the evening’s experiences and contributions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, bouncer, and / or security guard
- Awareness and understanding of local laws
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of guest interactions and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Full time 2nd / 3rd shift availability is needed for this opportunity.
