We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor in the retail industry, located in Delray Beach, Florida.
The chosen candidate will supervise the processing of customer applications, maintain precise customer records, and resolve customer inquiries.
This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.
Responsibilities :
- Supervising the processing of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensuring the correct flow through Concur, an accounting software system
- Managing and maintaining accurate customer credit records
- Regularly monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions
- Handling account coding and data processing tasks
- Overseeing the accounts payable functions and accrual accounting procedures
- Conducting auditing and automated clearing house tasks
- Performing payments reconciliation and maintaining the general ledger accounts payable balance
- Managing the accounts payable inbox and ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting tasks.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable supervisory role within the retail industry.
- Proficiency in account coding and data processing.
- Extensive experience with accounting software systems.
- Familiarity with Concur software is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of accounting functions and accrual accounting.
- Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.
- Experience in auditing, specifically within an accounts payable context.
- Ability to reconcile payments efficiently and accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong inbox management skills to ensure timely response to vendor inquiries.
