Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a District Manager- Facilities Operations (maintenance, grounds, custodial) to manage six facilities accounts in the Central Region for the Sodexo School Services Segment (K-12).

Reporting directly to the Vice President, this position will be responsible for managing a combined budget of $23 million and a team of 450 with 6 direct reports.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, independent leader with hard and soft facilities management expertise, project management and construction development is a plus.

This District Manager- Facilities Operationsis also responsible for developing solutions for integrated facilities management, knowing and understanding the Sodexo contracts, and managing client relationships.

This leader also is accountable for developing solutions for integrated facilities management potential new sales. This is a virtual position requiring the candidate to reside in the Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri area with easy access to a major airport, as about 50% travel on average is expected.

Key Responsibilities :

Combine your proven leadership and Facilities Management technical expertise to enhance existing (or new) client programs including short- and long-range planning, construction / renovation projects, preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, grounds and landscaping, as well as janitorial / custodial.

Preferred Qualifications :

• A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership with multi-unit and / or multi-client accounts;
• Experience managing facilities for both hard and soft services;
• Strong technical knowledge of the following : mechanical, maintenance, and construction project management;
• Strong strategic leadership, financial acumen, and talent management;
• Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage the workload accordingly;
• Strong contract and account operations knowledge / experience to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship;
• Strong leadership skills and experience building and assisting in the development of efficient teams;
• A proven track record ensuring account growth and account retention;
• Exceptional customer service, relationship building, presentation and communication skills;
• Experience with Integrated Facilities Management in the Education segments.
• Valid driver's license is required.
