About the Role
As the founding sales hire in New York, you'll play a key role in building a disciplined sales organization. Partnering closely with leadership, you'll manage our customer pipeline, develop GTM playbooks, and drive sales to payer organizations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts end-to-end, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets, closing customers with sales cycles of over 9-12 months, ACVs of at least $250k, with 4 or more stakeholders (including C-Suite executives).
- Develop and scale sales operations, processes, and best practices, setting the standard for sales hires.
- Support broader commercial strategies for navigating the healthcare payer landscape.
- Represent our client at industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to drive GTM strategy.
About You
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York, with a preference for in-person work (3 / 4 days per week).
- 4+ years of direct sales experience with payer organizations, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex, high-value deals.
- Strong relationships with payors or distribution partners, and technical proficiency with sales tools.
- Deep understanding of healthcare trends, particularly in payor markets, and able to discuss AI in healthcare.
