We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career within the construction industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

With a primary focus on quality control, budgeting, and construction management, this role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities :

1. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and general contractors, to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects.

2. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all work is carried out within the agreed financial parameters.

3. Oversee the quality control process, implementing measures to ensure all work is performed to the highest standard.

4. Manage the construction schedule, identifying any potential delays and implementing solutions to mitigate them.

5. Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and standards.

6. Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management, highlighting any potential issues and providing solutions where necessary.

7. Collaborate with the procurement team to source and manage materials and equipment, ensuring they meet project requirements and are delivered on time.

8. Manage project documentation, including contracts, plans, and reports, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.

9. Participate in project planning and design meetings, providing input based on your expertise and experience.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry is required.

2. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

3. Proven experience as a general contractor, with a strong understanding of construction processes and principles.

4. Demonstrated experience in project budgeting and financial management.

5. Excellent knowledge of quality control processes within the construction industry.

6. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven ability to identify and resolve project issues.

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of project stakeholders.

8. Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore or similar.

10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.

11. A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, with a strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
