ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY :

Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Record Management Support candidates who will provide Records Management services supporting Army users with the ability to create and manage official Army records from any data or content source in a way to minimize individual time investment for creation, extraction, or disposal of the records.

Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.

  • Prefer candidates with a valid US passport.
  • Must have an active, current Secret Clearance.

PRIMARY DUTIES :

  • All candidates will perform the following duties :
  • Knowledge of word processors or other computerized data entry on internal and external systems.
  • Knowledge of filing and archiving of data manual as well as computerized.
  • Knowledge of Federal laws and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) policies and procedures relating to records management.
  • Responsible for maintaining and operating a computer system and / or network (i.e. electronic records management system (ERM system)).

SKILLS REQUIRED :

All candidates will have the following minimum skills :

Two (2) years total experience in records management or knowledge management or two year experience with FOIA records management

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

Preferred Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field, OR 7 total years of recent specialized experience.

  • Security+
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in maintaining certifications related to the requirement of the position.
