Full Time Maintenance TechnicianWe are looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of affordable housing properties.
The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly in a fast paced and detailed environment.Job Type : Full-timeSchedule : 8 hour shift Monday to FridayStarting Pay : $17 per hourExperience : Maintenance experience is preferredDetail orientedBasic technology (smart phone / computer)Organizational skillsBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systemsKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances and devicesManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCertificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plusCertified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desiredResponsibilities include : -Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards-Perform maintenance and installation of systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, change filter furnaces etc.
assist in setup of systems and conduct repairs when necessary, maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality-Ability to navigate smart phone, electronic work orders-Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed-Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.
Willing to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
