As a UX Writer, you will be responsible for researching, strategizing, and writing web content. To be successful in our team, we are looking for a UX Writer that can immerse themselves into the user experience and "think" like users so that they can help create a strategy that works in concert with the user interface and guide users through an intuitive and easy-to-use experience.

You'll write clear and concise content labels, navigational elements, buttons, interface language, accessibility content, detailed UX guidelines around visual style, component behaviors, and editorial style guides for Empower and multiple product lines with a strong focus on end-user customers including our websites, tools, and mobile apps.

What you will do :

• Conduct competitive analyses of other financial industries
• Prepare customer analysis based on target demographics and initial transactions
• Participate in creating a content development strategy
• Coordinate with the UI design team on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design, etc.
• Track usability goals and prepare reports for senior management
• Develop mockups for the development and design teams
• Conduct usability tests on each independent type of page on the website and create a report showcasing the findings

What you will bring :

• 2+ years in a UX writing or technical writing role for web and mobile
• Design system writing experience
• Experience working on digital products
• Content strategy experience
• Working knowledge of Adobe products
• Strong strategic, creative, and conceptual abilities as demonstrated by an outstanding portfolio

What will set you apart :

• Marketing copywriting experience is highly preferred
• You're adept at synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data to guide editorial recommendations and content
• You are an empathetic and critical thinker
• You're proficient in Microsoft Office
• You're an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
• You're a collaborator who can bring stakeholders together

Base Salary Range

$69,400.00 - $98,050.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.

Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.

Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
