Summary
The Education Sales Specialist will focus on driving B&M sales growth and providing brand training for retail partners in the Austin, TX region.
This is a part-time, contract-to-hire position.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Reporting : Collaborate with the Regional Account Executive to develop strategies for sales growth in the Austin, TX region, including in-store activations, sales reports, and future B&M retail opportunities.
- Training and Development : Conduct in-store brand and product training, identifying plans and opportunities to enhance B&M sales growth for retail partners.
- Event Support : Assist with high-profile in-store events, retailer-led initiatives, and branded promotions to effectively engage retail partners.
- Weekly Reporting : Prepare and submit weekly reports on in-store events, brand performance, and retailer activities.
Requirements
- Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a retail beauty or cosmetic environment.
- Work Hours : Position requires 20-25 hours in-store per week, plus an additional 2-3 hours of desk work.
- Meetings : Weekly 1-on-1 with the National Manager every Monday.
- In-Store Presence : 4-5 days in-store to support sales growth, provide education / training for retail partners, and assist with in-store events (Fridays, Saturdays, and most Sundays focused on retailer visits and sales support).
- Reporting : Weekly reports due every Sunday evening.
- Transportation : Must have reliable transportation (car) and be willing to travel throughout the San Francisco / Bay Area to visit retail partners.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to carry event materials and heavy boxes of products for events / store visits.
- Technical Skills : Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- GPS App : Selected Candidates will download a GPS location app on their phone.
- DMV Background Check : A DMV background check is required.
- Travel Reimbursement : Candidates can receive travel reimbursement by logging mileage using the AVON system (Concord).
