As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible to troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on metal stamping equipment and supporting equipment.
2nd Shift Hours are M-Th 4 : 30 PM - 3 : 30 AM. You will receive a $2.50 shift differential for every hour worked.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Install and service systems such as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, controls. (80%)
Miscellaneous repairs and tasks which could include parts pickup, coordinating vendors, developing training materials and solutions. (5%)
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical equipment (5%)
Perform preventative maintenance on stamping presses and supporting equipment. (5%)
Perform routine industrial and facility maintenance. (5%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too :
- Associates in technology related field is preferred.
- Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (will certify at hire) is required.
- Working in Industrial or commercial environments 7 years.
- Tools : own tools must be provided.
- Electrical : 12-480V electrical troubleshooting and repair skills. Including servos, VFD’s.
- Mechanical : experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Writing : ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speaking : ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization.
- Technology : knowledgeable in Microsoft PC environment, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Self-Management : ability to display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.

This role operates large equipment and needs to constantly position self to maintain the operation of equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly work around moving mechanical parts. The noise level is loud. The job may risk exposure to dust, heat and / or cold, wet or humid conditions.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
This job does not require domestic travel.
