Manpower is seeking a maintenance technician for a client in the tristate area.
Job duties include :
- Loading and unloading parts for heat treat
- Operating forklifts and cranes
- Maintenance on equipment
- Operate, control and monitor heat treating equipment as required and written in standard procedures and / or customer paperwork
- Troubleshooting and repair of furnaces which may include programing, leak testing and repair, pump and motor repairs, heating elements, thermocouple replacements and other mechanical aspects of furnaces
- Perform furnace calibrations and uniformity surveys
- Ability to program and run multiple different furnace / oven controllers
Requirements :
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Any heat treating experience is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment without supervision
- May be required to work overtime
- Ability to work standing for long periods of time in a hot environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to report to work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with coworkers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
- Must follow all safety rules and procedures at all times
