Job Summary

The Craft Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide vital administrative support for hiring our craft workforce. This role involves close interaction with recruiters, candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to address the craft recruitment needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, including pre-employment drug testing and employment eligibility verification.
  • Ensure all onboarding packets are complete, entered into the HRIS system, and distributed to appropriate departments (e.g., HR, Safety).
  • Ensure job sites consistently and accurately complete onboarding requirements before employing individuals.
  • Send onboarding packets and other requirements (I-9, background check, etc.), and assist candidates in completing them as needed.

Follow up to ensure timely completion.

  • Process invoice vouchers and compile, prepare, run, and distribute reports.
  • Track and maintain hiring status using internal systems.
  • Schedule pre-employment background checks and verify results upon receipt.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • One to three years of recruitment support, customer service, administrative, or related experience, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Ability to manage a large and variable workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Bilingual in Spanish / English (read, write, and speak) is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating proper etiquette and professionalism via telephone and email.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software; HRIS experience, especially with Oracle products, is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • May stoop, kneel, or bend occasionally.
  • Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.
  • Frequently required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects.
  • Will frequently interact with people and technology during a shift / workday.
  • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift / workday.
  • Will frequently use a telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
