Job Description

Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.

This is a benefitted, full-time 12 hour Evening shift position with Call. The start time is at 10 : 30am. Located at Scripps Mercy Hospital-San Diego.

This position includes an Incentive of $4K and a Relocation Incentive of $3K to eligible new hires.

• Provide care for patients before, during and after surgery
• Work amongst the 12 Operating Room Suites in trauma, ortho, spine, urology, bariatric, some plastics, robotics and general.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met :

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department / specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
• One (1) year of RN experience in the Operating Room or successful completion of Scripps' peri-operative training program or an approved external peri-operative training program
• California Registered Nurse License
• Charge experience
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
• Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2 or more years OR experience
• Trauma experience- Level 1
• Previous Charge experience
• EPIC system experience
• PeriOp 101 course

Position Pay Range : $57.00-$81.60 / hour
