Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is recruiting for Credentialing Specialist for a Healthcare Organization in Baltimore, Maryland! This is a full time, in-person, Temp-to-Hire position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure every staff member is licensed and compliant with all regulations and requirements
  • Serve as a point of contact for providers, insurances, and related entities
  • Gather and maintain documents in accordance with the credentialing and re-credentialing process
  • Other duties related to the credentialing process as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years working in a similar capacity for a healthcare organization
  • Knowledge of Symplr or similar software
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
  • Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and major insurance providers
  • Understanding of the credentialing process and ability to navigate the requirements

Compensation and Hours

  • This is an hourly position on the contract side and will convert to a permanent salary of 45-55k. Permanent salary range will depend on performance and experience.
  • This is an in-person, full time 40-hour / week, temp-to-hire position in Baltimore City, the intent is for this person to convert to a long-term employee who will grow with the organization
  • There could be potential for some hybrid-schedule flexibility in the future, but this role will be in-person to start
