SQL Data Migration Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and managing the data migration process within the Finance Division which will include converting scripts / stored procedures from Oracle SQL to SQL Server.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience in data migration from Oracle SQL to SQL Server using Oracle SQL Developer and SQL Server Management Studio
- Expert in creating / modifying various stored procedures and functions as part of the data migration and cleansing process
- Extensive experience in complex SQL queries, analytical functions, and Oracle / SQL server objects
- Ability to manipulate large datasets
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels
- Ability to perform under pressure and multi-tasking
- Skillful problem solver with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to analyze the business rules and put it into programmable logic
- Experience in managing financial data is a plus Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data migration and advanced analytics
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skill
