What You Will Do :
- Leads the Standard Production System Tier 1 with the hourly workforce to include but not limited to : Production flow, productivity, reliability, costs.
- Plans, delegates assignments and trains new employees.
- Serves as focal point for shift activities, questions, concerns and / or issues. Forwards or escalates issues and concerns to supervisor.
- Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE initiatives.
- Support the cell’s EH&S initiatives. May provide assistance and work-related direction in the absence of the Supervisor.
- Trains employees in the performance of tasks related to their area of expertise.
- Tracks work in process, troubleshoots, and solves problems associated with production and / or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Collaborates with supervisor in the evaluation of employee performance and addressing employee issues when / as they arise.
- Aids in the interpreting of specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assists in assigning duties.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant work instructions. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Ensures company policies and procedures are complied with and understood. Committed in areas of quality / productivity and understands the link with these items with company profitability.
- Holds tool-box meetings as needed. Maintains a clean and organized cell.
Qualifications You Must Have :
- More than two (2) years working experience plus a demonstrated ability to effectively manage production work activities.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routing reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Strong leadership, communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, team building and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.
Qualifications We Prefer :
Associate’s degree in business administration or related field.
The salary range for this role starts at $20 / hr. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
