CVS Health is seeking a Lead Front end Engineer, to use their talent and expertise to build reusable UI experiences that can be developed, deployed, work independently and be faster.
Additionally, this candidate will be a subject matter expert in frontend software engineering best practices. This includes coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
Ideal candidate can work from any of the following work locations in hybrid model - IL, AZ, TX , RI
Required Qualifications :
- 8+ years of experience in software development in enterprise / web applications
- 8+ years of experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, html, CSS, etc.
- 5+ years of experience with React, React hooks, Redux
- 2+ years of experience with Angular
- 3+ years of experience with stack reviews, code reviews, code improvement, advising on best practices, mentoring junior engineers and being a part of the solution discussion
- 2+ years of experience working in CI / CD pipeline, Circle CI, Harness, or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with automation
- Very good understanding of accessibility
- Strong leadership and presentation skills to share reviews / feedback on business Requirements to executives
- Good interpersonal skills, dedicated, disciplined, hardworking and a team player
Education :
Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is :
$118,450.00 - $247,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
